So, I know I haven't been around the last few months...been busy with work and such, but I want to try to change that for the rest of the summer (I managed to get Sunday to Tuesday off each week of July, so now we can do some art trippin...
I propose for our first trip we go to the Toronto Zoo!
I went there recently, and man oh man cute plus drawing reference is awesome!!!!!
We'd go for the day and draw and such. If we do this it is strongly recommended that you bring a lunch....it costs way to much to eat there ><...
Normally its 23$ per person but if 20 or more come,it goes down to 19.55!
So bring your friends! its an excuse for drawing and socializing!
Also, as I will also be off Tuesdays, I think we should all head to the ROM once or twice. Students are free on Tuesdays, and there's some pretty cool stuff to see there to. Plus free is good
Another place would be the Distillery District. Some really cool gallery s are there (all free
as well as artists studios. Theres also a few really good coffee shops and Soma....a magical wonderful place where they make chocolate in front of you ><).
I know last summer they had a few festivals and such there and had artists showing work outside. Could be fun.
High park is also on my list for one of there free Shakespeare plays (well...its suggested that you should donate something as the actors are donating there time), and general walk around with a picnic at the end(or beginning).
Well, let me know what you guys think and if there's anything you guys can, could suggest.
Oh...and I want to make the first trip a Zoo one, hopefully on July 3rd or 4th. How does that sound?
Also, if I haven't sent you an email about this, then you arn't on the mailing list....please note me your email if you want to be put on it and be kept up to date!
